Let’s start with the 3 most common Photoshop keys.

• Shift allow you to group multiple layers OR add selection;
• Alt allow you to duplicate content and layers OR substracte selection;
• Cmd/Ctrl  toggle your selected tool to the move tool when hited, and switch back to your selected tool when released.
